Say good bye to 'Accept errors'
Import the xpo file for this project into version 3- SP3 system.
'Accept errors' is a bit of a bother while reporting a production as finished. The standard practice is to ask the users to post reported as finished without checking the 'Accept error' check-box. Then take a look at the errors reported and if acceptable then post reported as finished with 'Accept error' clicked. The problem is that the user has to go through a lot of warning messages that may be completely irrelevant to the setup for the company. The user starts getting bored and either does not read through the warnings or stops following the standard practice of first posting without checking 'Accept errors' check-box. This is very dangerous since some of the errors reported may be very crucial to the business. No more of this... This modification gives an 'Insignificant errors' form in production setup.
Now Axapta will not throw warnings for errors setup in this form. You need not give users the access to 'Accept errors' check-box. cheers! |
