Functionality

One major problem with Axapta is users tend to click 'Close' on the infolog presented to them as a matter of practice. The details of the infolog are not available for review later.  This is a pain since the infolog may contain description of some errors.

This modification saves to the database, the infolog presented to the user and makes it available for review.

Basic menu has got a new option called 'Infolog history' under inquiries.

Clicking on this menu will open the following form:

Pressing the log button on this form will display the log

bulletNotes
  1. Every ‘infolog’ thrown by the system is stored and available for display per user
  2. The ‘showlog’ method on table ‘InfologHistorySPL’ deletes records that are more than 3 days old. (However, if the current record is displayed even if it is more than 3 days old).
